Map update query - UK & Europe?

I recently bought a Via Live 125 with Europe mapping.
On checking for map updates it shows updates available for both UK & Europe.
Isn't UK included in Europe?
I had a simular problem a couple of years ago with an older model and ended up with just UK maps (not Europe).
Do I need to update both?

UK is always included in the full Europe map.
If you update a Europe map with a Europe map then you'll have the UK included.
If you update a Europe map with just UK then you'll have two different maps installed- the old Europe (including the UK) and a new one of UK only.

Where are you seeing these updates? In MyTomTom or on their website?

Connected to my PC via USB and it automatically checked for updates on the web.
I have updated Europe but it still shows an update available for UK.
As mentioned I had problems before doing this.
I updated Europe then UK and ended up with just UK.
Wasn't able to correct even with Tomtoms help hence ended up buying a new unit.
