so on the box it says mapshare i log on to edit a map and no map share whats going on?

I've no idea what's going on as you've not explained what you're doing....

To do a MapShare correction, you edit the map on the VIA itself, so you don't need to log on to do it.

You don't have "Map Corrections" and "Correct a Map Error" in the settings menu?

Here's the page from the manual

To correct a map error, do the following:

1. Tap Map corrections in the Settings menu.

2. Tap "Correct a map error".
3. Select the type of map correction you want to report.
4. Select how you want to select the location.
5. Select the location. Then tap Done.
6. Enter the details of the correction. Then tap Done.
7. Tap Send.
The correction is saved.
