Hi, as i'm new to this Forum i'm not sure how it works but will give i a go!
Ok, I have a Peugeot Boxer 2017 with built in Tom Tom system. Having owned this Vehicle from new i can confirm that the Sat Nav has never been updated!
I have been having problems with the Sat Nav as it cant find certain place as they are new Builds etc,. Also when on Motorway it takes me of every Junction then back on!!
I decided to contact Tom Tom and purchase an update. I created a Tom Tom account then went to Maps ( there was only 2 options 0 One time purchase or 12 months, i purchased the one time Map. When i looked at the purchase it had a list of vehicles that the Map was for, as my vehicle was not there i contacted Tom Tom, that's when the crazy bit starts!
After sending 30 plus emails to and from Tom Tom just to find out if the Map i purchased i correct for my vehicle i have been told to contact my supplying Dealer of my Vehicle to ask if updates are available for my device!!! ( Bought in 2017!!)
So after 2 or 3 Weeks i am £ 50 out of pocket and no further along!
Tom Tom customer services must be on par with Evri!!
Ok, i have vented my frustration,
Thanks for reading,
Penderri
