Map not found!!!??? What the....

I've been using my 510 for six months now with no issues. Sure enough, I'm out of town in an unknown area, TomTom works great - at first. Turn it off for the night, turn it back on the next day when leaving, and then BAM! "No maps found" comes up! I have no access to anything else on the device. I didn't do a thing to it - what changed?

When I got home I deleted the version of software and then reloaded - but same results - No Maps Found!!! What the heck happened?

I sent an email to TomTom Support, though I don't know how good that will be - is there something else I can try?

That is very strange...do the map directories show when you view the SD card?
