Several times now I have reported to TomTom that for some unknown reason all of the house numbers in the Lane I live in have been changed on their map and all are now incorrect. I have advised what my own correct house number is and what it has been incorrectly changed to . I have even proposed they check all these with my local District Council as the info is available on their website. In addition I suggested they check on Ordnance survey maps. Nobody takes any notice!
( Google maps have also corrupted the property numbering albeit differently - no idea why - and show mine as a number which does not even exist here. Again nobody takes any action) WHY? Is there anyone at TomTom who will deal with this issue? I live in hope as it often confuses delivery men . It’s frustrating and irritating.

Thanks for your interest. If only it were so simple. Only some houses here have numbers. Others just have names . Some have both but don’t display both. It’s an ancient rural village with very limited street lighting. It’s not like an urban street where it’s easy to see and numbering here is not in an intuitive logical sequence. It even has two number 1 ‘an and 2 number 2’s The map ascribes my house number to a property that doesnt even have a number. However, the delivery driver aspect is not the key issue ( but remains an implication) What I seek is getting it corrected. It used to be correct until it was all changed for no obvious reason - and Im STILL waiting for a response from TomTom.

For a new inaccuracy I was riding a street bike and laid my route out with "avoid unpaved roads". Boggs Mill road in Hacker Valley West Virginia is not and never was paved. We turned onto it and it was too narrow and steep to turn around on and thick gravel has us sliding to the edge. I thought for sure it was going down. I had to walk my bike a couple hundred yards then carefully ride it 4-1/2 miles on some of the worst road I have been on. No idea where t report this stuff except here.

You're not alone in thinking ‘no idea where to report this stuff’ . Whatever happened to good old ‘Customer Services’ where they determine which of their departments to direct your enquiry to and ensure that you get a constructive and timely reply. You need a SatNav to find your way around TomToms website. It’s not what you might call intuitive

Here for now > New Map Error Reporter
Though we are beginning to wonder if anyone is reading those udpates.

In the future, we may have a better solution for you here, but it's going to take a lot of my personal time to set it up.
