Map depository for obsolete devices?

Hello,

I have Tomtom xxl N14644 with N America Map Version 835.2419. Tomtom home will not provide updates. Is there another way to download any map newer than that and replace existing map?

No, as the maps are individually keyed to the serial number of each device.
Perhaps more to the point, your XXL has only 2GB of internal memory, no provision for an SD or uSD card, and the maps have grown massively over time. Now they even include the geometry for many parking lots so that you're properly directed to a business within a mall area. A current version map of the USA runs 5.656MB. The new maps simply won't fit. The XXL was first released in 2009, so perhaps it's time to retire it.
