Whilst i have been trying to fix my TomTom One 3rd Edition (which was freezing on start-up), i have deleted all the files from the device WITHOUT making a back-up.

You don't need to tell me how stupid i am.

Where can i download these files to restore them & how do i do it?

Much appreciation for any help provided.

Is it less than a year old (under warranty)? If so, call Tomtom phone support and they can provide you with the steps needed (including a map) to get it working.

If it is out of warranty, you may need to purchase a new map to get it working again. Follow these steps:
1) format the tomtom as fat32
2) disconnect from the computer and turn the tomtom on until it has a red X
3) reconnect to HOME and do "update my ONE" to reinstall the application and voices
4) go to "add traffic voices...", then "items on my computer", and look if you have a map that you can add. If not, go to add maps and purchase one.
