TomTom Model(s)
2025 Subaru Forester
I have a new 2025 Subaru Forester with the 11.6" screen. The image is low contras with white streets shown on a light gray background. The major roads are a little darker and easier to see if you are close to one of those. We have driven Acuras for over a decade and the in-dash maps are much easier to see. They have gray roads on a very light background. (At night the background is black.) Much more contrast between roads and background. Is there a way to change the contrast on the map in the Subaru? Is there something like a night mode that has a darker background if all the roads are going to be a light color? So far, the map is a light background even when driving in dark conditions. There are no settings I can find on this screen to change the TomTom map. How would I change the background color if possible?

I have used the General Settings > Display, which lets me adjust the brightness and contrast with slider buttons. This adjustment works for everything that is on the display, not just TomTom map images. All the other information screens look good and need no change. Those brightness and contrast buttons have almost no effect on the TomTom maps. There should be some way to change the contrast between the streets and the background of the TomTom maps, but I don't find any adjustments for that. I appreciate your suggestions.
