Louder than Big Ben

Since I have been using my Tom Tom, we can be merrilly on our way up a motorway, when suddenly the machine lets out a BONG, just one, and intermittently.

It is quite off putting but cannot figure out what it is trying to tell us.

We are not speeding so its not that ?

Any advise would be appreciated.

No not POI

Not as far as I am aware and these BONGs seem random, just passing a few tress etc.

Not as far as I am aware and these BONGs seem random, just passing a few tress etc.

The warnings for POIs may seem random in that they are set for specific distance before you get to the POI.

This feature would be in the Manage POIs menu.
