Loud noise while using hands free

Hey everyone,

All of a sudden there is a loud noise coming out of the speaker of the TomTom (GO 510) unit while using hands free. Anyone have any idea how to fix this problem?

Mic is plugged into the mic spot on the windshield mount.

Is it the sound of someone shouting "Hello? Hello? Is anyone there?" after you make a call?

Seriously though, if this started after you upgraded to v7 software, it is a known problem that AFAIK there is currently no fix for. Other people who rely on hands-free have downgraded to v6. Hopefully there will be a fix released soon.

To Pedro: yes the charger is plugged in.

To Spook: hahah unfortunately nobody can hear me, and I can't hear anybody on the other end. It is connected because I'll make a call afterwards and the person will say they couldn't hear anything. I don't know, it's weird.

Try unplugging the car charger and see if there is a difference
