Lost map

I had a Tom Tom Go 530 bought for me 6 years ago in the UK with UK & Ireland map and New Zealand as an extra map. now I still the New Zealand map but have lost the UK map, how do I get this map back please

Just shows NZ map

Connect to PC. It becomes a drive letter. Open it and make a Windows search for "Ireland" and see if it finds reference and if yes, which folder.

done a seach on the PC and as come up with 4 topics 1, signpost li txt 2, ireland intro2.jpg 3, ireland intro1.jpg 4, ireland gif

Hope so, as I'm going back to the UK shortly for a holiday and need to use the Tom Tom

If your map was six years old maybe it would be a good idea to get a new one anyway.

I thought you just updated the maps, not purchase new ones

If you are talking about mapshare changes, they only alter information on the existing map but will not alter a geographical structure on the map. In other words, any new roads since your map are not added with mapshares. That's why Arno mentioned a new map might be in order.

To the OP:
Have you ever done a full backup of your unit? If so, the UK/ROI map will be there in the backup and we should be able to retrieve it.
