Rider 550
My rider 550 has worked for 3 years perfectly. Recently, after setting a destination I get the-You will reach your destination at whenever information, after which no voice commands at all. I still get the over speed limit pings when dictated. So the link to my earphones is secure but I do not think the commands come from the device itself even. I have checked what I can but I am not a technical person. Any advice would be appreciated.

The headphones are Bluetooth I believe. They must be OK as they receive some of the verbal messages but not the ones related to directions. I do not think the messages are audible from the 550 speakers.

A Rider 550 can be used in a car, so you should receive all voices from the Rider's speaker.

Make sure you've selected Malcolm or Serena's voice.

If you don't hear any audio from your Rider, try resetting the device to factory settings.

You must turn on voice prompts.
The symbol must not be crossed out.

I have the device in front of me now. The item you circled and the one next to it, I cannot find. Also the fan shaped item at the top of the screen is crossed out on mine

My photo is of a GO 5200. I think it's the same with a Rider 550, but I don't know for sure.

On the rider screen you should have this icon.

If you click on it, you should see:

Here's what Willy is trying to provide, but in English. You'll find all of this in your Rider manual.

Many thanks to all who replied. I think Willy875 and canderson have come up with the goods. I will go for a ride or drive tomorrow to confirm.
Many thanks again.
