I just drove from Texas to Kansas and back. Often times I thought, sure would be nice to know which towns were coming up. The only thing I could come up with was to use the Browse Map function. I also thought I could create a POI file with all the significant cities and towns. Not a real slick solution.

    Any other suggestions?

I'm afraid that the highway signs will give you more info than the TomTom.:(

Yes, the 'Browse map' function will work, but you can't fiddle with it while you're driving.

There is indeed a Cities_USA POI. It's huge.
I don't remember where I got it and I don't know whether it's appropriate to repost it here.

lec510, I don't think that would be a problem as long as the author is not selling that POI.

    Hi Pedro.
I tried to post it, the upload failed.
It's a zipped file of only 2.2M in size.
