Loading software from CAB file

I have downloaded V9.061 of the software for my XL IQ routes as a CAB file.

I have searched for instructions how to load this on the device without success. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

A *.cab file is really nothing more than a *.zip archive under another name.

Using Winrar or Winzip or similar, unpack the *.cab file allowing the file paths to remain as they are inside the archive.
