Hi All,
My, up to now, reliable TomTom has stopped showing any live traffic info. I have checked for updates and has only found speed camera updates today since updated last week.
Is this a known issue.
Any suggestions?

Thanks
Steve

Thanks, I have had to do a reset, which fixed the traffic issue, but lost all my places. I can't get my current sat nav to add to mydrive, It has my previous ones, but has no add option. If I open mydrive on my phone it shows an add option, but not on the PC where I can connect my sat nav.

Your 6200 should be able to pick up a list of 'my places' from the TomTom cloud server over its WiFi connection. It shouldn't be necessary to connect to your PC or to the MyDrive app on your phone. As long as your 6200 is provided the same login name and password as you have provided to the cloud server at plan.tomtom.com. Check that website to see if your favorites are there.

Your device reset WILL require that you provide any previous login name and password again on your device.

I had this problem and fixed it by going to setting - system - your info - uncheck use my location , go back to main map , than go back to - system - your info - and check use my location. This fixed for me.

Tom Tom now are running traffic updates via your phone for both older and more modern sat nav units.

Put the blue tooth on your unit on and then go to settings on your phone and turn on Mobile hotspot and Bluetooth tethering- They are both on the same page if your phone is a Samsung.

You will need to turn these on each time you use the sat nav on your phone

Thanks. That method just fixed Traffic on my one.

I was just told from tomtom that my go 6200 is not currently impacted.

New Question:
Are there ANY new sat navs made with a sim card?

Even Garmin switched to WiFi / Bluetooth connectivity years ago, primarily using a phone to make the connection.

Thank you. So annoying that sat navs don't have sim. It would be so much easier for me as I don't have a smart phone.

Instead of buying a GPS, buy a smartphone. You will have 4 or 5G, then you will install GO Navigation Tomtom on your smartphone.

I ordered a sat. nav. from Tom Tom on Friday 28th. It has not arrived yet. I am unable to contact them no matter how I try and the chat bot has me going round in circles. Any suggestions ?

It's been less than a week, and it probably isn't being fulfilled out of the UK. A little patience might be in order.

Did you receive a tracking number?
