TomTom Model(s)
Go 6200
Hi all, i have been reading up a lot lately on the forums that tomtom have stopped supprt for the go 6200 but I never got any email from them about it so has it officially been announced or are they slowly emailing everyone and will take time until traffice actually stops working with the built in sim?

Hello
Officially Tomtom does not communicate about this on its site.
Many people have received this message and a few weeks later their SIM card has been deactivated.
If your SIM is still activated, use the traffic service the day you no longer have traffic to connect your phone to your GPS.

TOMTOM just messaged me now saying that my go 6200 is not impacted currently.

What do you mean?
What I mean is that some people receive an email from Tomtom support saying that their SIM card will be deactivated, but you receive an email saying that your GO 6200 is not affected?

What would be good if Tomtom clearly stated on their site the GPS models whose SIM cards will be deactivated, the best would be to indicate the serial number to be clearer.

Yes - that is what a professional company would do.

The following was the exact message from tomtom,

Please disregard about other users' messages about SIM since it's altogether different scenario. Your GO 6200 is not impacted currently.
