Would be nice if MyDrive & Home were available natively on Linux for those of us who are not Windows or MAC users 🐑.
Seen some old posts regarding this so seems to be a long time ask with little responce so far.......

Any chance of this happening or just a pipe dream 🤔

Would be interesting to see which of these functions properly with MyDrive Connect. What MDC does is a bit of a trick - it creates a USB to TCP bridge to connect the TomTom to the computer. The TomTom is a little mini-server.

No chance of that happening.
And it's a pity. Linux systems are continuously growing and become more and more common on desktops (especially when newer version of Win are continuously more demanding in terms of hardware and this abandoned hardware is still good). I'm myself Linux user for years and I even don't have any computer with Windows (and do not need to have one...). Unfortunately I'm just TomTomGo application user so I don't have any solution - it's just the comment.
