Lg rumor touch w/virgin mobile anyone have data working?

Anyone have any luck getting vm's unlimited data working with tomtom data service? I've hacked my service code to the lg so I have access to all the internal settings but I don't see anything obvious in there that would help. Currently my tomtom says data service unavailable and refuses to even run the setup.
