Latest N.American Maps?

Hi I just got a TT Go720 and it seems great. I wanted to make sure that I have the latest maps. I read some posts on here that indicated the latest maps were 1.9GB in size. Now I used the latest map function in Home two but noticed that I got a version 710 but its only 1.7GB in size? Is this indeed the latest map.

That is the latest, approx 1.7g

Yep, you got the latest. I do believe (and someone will surely correct me if I'm wrong, LOL) that the 1.9g map is the SAME map but has more POI or detail like ponds/lakes/etc for the 920.

Thanks for the quick replys. I was just wondering if the 1.9GB 920 maps could be used on the 720? I wouldn't mind seeing lakes if I could

Has anyone tried this or is there formating differences in the map file?

I did when I had my 720. I did have to put that map on an SD card and then using preferences "switch map" but it did work.
