Latest Map Guarantee and Map Download from PC

Hi,

I bought GO630 used the latest map guarantee but then returned it for GO720 (has FM etc). When I tried to use LMG for GO 720, tomtom HOME does not show a latest map available. It seems like LMG is linked to PC, (because I made new account for GO720) so if I change the device, although I bought it brand new, i can not use LMG. TTHome shows that new map and firmware are in PC folders but It only gives the option to remove them and no option to download them to TT device, it also says that its not good for GO720.(firmware file name has GO630).

Could you folks please help me out....

Phone support at 866-486-6866 and explain the situation to them. You ARE sure you are loogging into TomTom using Home for the 720 with a DIFFERENT account than with the 630?

They should add the new map to the account for the 720, if it is new....not a refurb.
