Larger maps on TomTom One?

So, I got the One LE with the SD card. I have the < 1G 7.10 US/canada map. Is there any way I can get the larger map instead without having to buy a new map and just buy a 2G SD card?

If you buy a 2GB SD card, how do you transfer all your stuff -- and install the new map -- from the TT to the card?

I have a TT ONE 2nd ed with no SD card and what I have fits in its memory. I have a number of favorites and a couple of itineraries that I do not want to lose, but it seems I need to get a 2GB SD card so I can install the new NA map.
