Keeps zooming out....

Hi all. Doing some drop and drag route changes in I think the beta version of the route planner.

Every time I make a change it keeps zooming back out,

Its almost making fine route changes impossible.

Am I missing something obvious?

I have no problem with the new planner.
Have you tried deleting cookies?

I agree. Make a single change and the entire map zooms back out to full route view ... as though it assumes you do not need to make any other changes in that area of the map.

Better give it another try. Even the beta plan.tomtom.com behaves this way. Always has.

• Create a route.
• Select a point on the route to move.
• Move that point.
• Watch it immediately zoom out to full route view after that change.

I don't understand everything, it's when we have finished moving the path that the zoom returns.
otherwise when you move it there is no problem.

Personally, I prefer to right-click then add to course.


The beta version are we talking about the current release what week ago?
or there would be a new beta version?

Correct. What I'm saying is that there's nothing newer or different being tested at this time.
You're still stuck with the problem that the OP describes for now.

That map zoom out issue is also a problem that annoys me. You fine tune a part of the map, then it zooms out and you have to zoom back in again. I am forever zooming back in.

I wish they never changed from the old My Drive planner. It was infinitely better than plan.tomtom.com

Agreed. Do like some of the new features though, but the zooming out is doing my head in, almost impossible to use...

Daar ben ik het mee eens. Breng een enkele wijziging aan en de hele kaart zoomt weer uit naar de volledige routeweergave... ook wordt overgenomen dat u geen andere wijzigingen hoeft aan te brengen in dat deel van de kaart.

Probeer het beter nog een keer. Zelfs de bèta plan.tomtom.com draagt zich op deze manier. Altijd gedaan.

• Maak een route.
• Selecteer een punt op de route die u wilt verplaatsen.
• Plaats dat punt.
• Bekijk hoe je na die wijziging direct uitzoomt naar de volledige routeweergave.

Zelfde probleem, telkens uitzoomen van de kaart na aanbrengen van een tussenpunt of verslepen van de route. Ook ergerlijk: de optie 'Rondrit' is niet meer beschikbaar in de nieuwe versie op plan.tomtom. Het systeem zelf een rondrit laten maken kan dus niet meer.
