Ipod will not start again after making hands free phone call

I have had the 720 for two years now and love it. I use it as a hands free (New York State Law) and the Jukebox for my ipod. When I make or receive a phone call the Tom Tom turns off the music and switches to phone mode. When I finish my call I hang up the phone and most of the time the music will not restart :. I have to turn off the Tom Tom and restart it to get the Jukebox to work again. Any ideas on what I may be doing wrong or how to fix this inconvieniance. Thanks
