IPhone and missing Live traffic

For month my iPhone 11 only can connect and hold connection with the TOMTOM live and photoservices when the iPhone is "home" where there is a Wifi.

On the fly, that is in my car, the phone has to go for normal phone/mobile connection. For all my apps except Tomtom GO there is no problem.

I've reported it to the TomTom support, who says it's a wellknown problem and thy are working on it. But... despite several contacts to the support for news, they still only say they are working on it and hope to fix the matter.

Has anyone else the same problem and experience ? I'm close to drop the app and use another product.

Not using the built-in SIM/cellular on the 5000 to make the connection? That would make the phone connection unnecessary.

If I am guessing correctly, you are trying to use a TT iPhone app with a Bluetooth connection to get the data to your 5000? Bluetooth iPhone to TomTom (and a few other devices) connections have been a problem for a while, though I understand that some more recent versions of iOS have done better.
 
Sorry, I'm not using my GO5000. It's using the Tomtom app on my iPhone.
 
Ah, understood now. Strictly a problem with iPhone GO app. I've been running it on an Android, and haven't experienced that.
