Install Tripmaster 1.8a on top of 1.8

Do you have to remove Tripmaster 1.8 in order to install 1.8a, or can you just install it on top of 1.8?

It should be intact when you do it but that is a good precaution.

I have installed versions of Tripmaster on top of each other and all the settings were all preserved. Although, I haven't touched tripmaster since I upgraded to NavCore 7.

Mine has the V7 screen thing and the GMT offset, and I would expect those both to get reset to default with a new install. But maybe not.

A new version of Tripmaster doesn't include the config.txt file, so yours won't be affected.

Yup, that's what happened. Original settings were preserved.
