TomTom Model(s)
4ET03
My Tomtom gps model 4ET03 has this problem, when I type Q, W appears, W gets me E, E gets me R, R gest me T, A gets me S, S gets me D, D gets me F, gets me G, ' (apostrophe) gets me X, Z gets me X, X gets me C, C gest me V, L gets me K, K gets me J and so on. I cannot type the left most and right most letters: Q, A, Z ' or P, L, - (yphen). HELP!

4ET03 isn't a model number, but I'm guessing that this is an older unit.
What has happened is that your screen calibration has become misadjusted, and everything has shifted to the right.
What can be done about it depends upon the actual model. If it's old enough, we may be able to help if we can still find the special instructions we used to keep for this problem here!
What are the first two characters of the device serial number?

The model is so written on the bottom edge of the unit: Tomtom Start, Model No. 4ET03. Another set of numbers read: C_No:GT5162B13433. Under that it reads (4ET0.052:01)

Below is a thread titled Screen re-calibration March 11 2013. Post#28 from oldfogy gives in great detail what to do.PLEASE wait for canderson to reply. This only works on Nav2 units. Canderson has gotten me out of the ditch as he would say more than once. If canderson says that this will work. Then pack a lot of patience. It is quite a bit of trial and error. But a have a old GO930 that was completely unusable. And this brought it back to life

I'm on the road at the moment without my usual collection of notes. Please reply to this post so that it shows up as "new" when I get home so that I don't forget to address this for you. It will be two days.

Moving some old content to new sections and ran across this one.

Wonder whatever happened to our OP? His device is indeed a Nav2, and the screen calibration can be modified according to the tutorial in this thread:

I have received a lot of patient help here over the years. From canderson, dhn, and Arno. I thank them for there assistance
