In 2 miles, turn left vs, In 2 miles at Main Street, turn left...

Hi All,
I have a 330 XL, and I was wondering...can it be changed so that it can tell you instead of "Turn left", "Turn left at Main Street"?

For the device to read out road names it needs to carry the -S after the device name or be one of the units that is equipped with Text To Speech.

Retro fitting this isn't really viable although a few of us have managed to get text to speech working on the European XL IQ Live models, how much RAM is your device equipped with, tap the sat strength meter followed by the version box to find out, if its 64MB it might be possible if its only got 32MB then loading the TTS files will crash the device - Mike

Go to Change Preferences/ Voice preferences/ switch voice and scroll through the available installed voices, keep an eye out for the words "Computer Voice" in the upper right corner as you page through the different voices, once selected there is another option in Voice Preferences to enable read aloud street names - Mike
