I-74 in north carolina missing?

I was driving to Myrtle Beach from Ohio this past week and when i got into N.Carolina on I-74 the road disappeared from my 720. there was an alternate I-74 that it told us to take, but we just stayed on the main I-74 and like i said it showed my car symbol driving on a blank screen and it kept recalculating the route. once the alternate joined back on the main highway it went back to normal. any clue on this???

and i do have the latest map as of 3 weeks ago.

Seems to be an error in the mapping data. you can report the missing road using mapshare but you can't add it to your own map.

can i report this to mapshare after the fact? i'm home now. i didnt change it as it was happening.

Sure.....just use your unit's mapshare corrections-->Report other corrections.

the next time you connect to Home, your report will be uploaded to TT.

Were you on one of the three segments wikipedia lists as open...or have more segments opened up that are not yet on the map?

i guess that explains it...lol

i looked at the wikipedia page regarding I-74 and just got confused. i guess the GPS was confused too, i can understand why it couldnt figure it out..lol
