Hi All,

Joined the forum after the 1015 map update bricked my Rider (2013), and thanks to the advice I found here I FIXED IT!!!!

However... The reason for the "bricking" was potentially free space to do the update, and now I only have 30 Meg free. Does anyone have any insight into how long before the K4 generation of kit will no longer be able to get map updates? I thought I was going to have to shell out this time, but I got out of jail, and I can't see me getting away with it much longer...

Tomtom decreed End of Life for devices with 2 gb internal storage or less, regardless of the fact that many of those models had the ability to take up to 32 gb storage with an additional sd card.

So far, no additional models are under the gun. So far.
