I found that way that work great for me and I tought sharing it.
1. Don't plug your tomtom, you can plug it but don't press Yes to sync
2. Start home first, wait for it to be totaly loaded
3. Press YES to sync.
Thant prevent home to crash for me, cause I used to plug my tt then press yes, and home was crashing or taking forever.
