How to correct a location?

On my TomTom XL325S it's freqently off somewhat on addresses. a block or a half a block.

I wanted to correct it easily; and I was sitting in McDonalds drive through trying to correct a map while i was waiting for my food.

is there a way to tell it that "the POI is actually right where I'm sitting"?

In your mapshare section, one of your choices is to edit your POI. When you select this, you would go to your poi. After you click on this poi , a screen comes up with allot of choices one of which is to move your POI. Pick this and tap on your map screen where this poi is really located. Follow the yellow brick road to then move this poi where you want.
