How full featured is the phone interface? TomTom 920

My phone does not have voice dial capabilities or voice command capabilities. Because of this, the tomtom 920 that I have ONLY works as a hands free kit.

While I had the BT phone, seemed like I could dial out to POI and such, implying there were other features I could take advantage of. Especially interested because of the voice input this unit supposedly has, but it is very new to me.

I'd have to manually enter all my contacts in, the transfer is not supported by my phone. But once contacts are in there, can I place calls using my voice?

Can I place contact calls entirely using the remote?

I think I know I can do this, but can you guys confirm that I can dial numbers using the touchscreen? I'm pretty sure I can do this though...

I went to try an see if it would work on my Unit and I can't even find a voice instruction feature now for directions let alone for the phone,I know it was there before and not sure what firmware wiped out that function?

Okay so I found the spoken address function, but I still can't use voice to make a call and my phone LG8700 does have that function and it works with my headset,so not sure if there is some setting I'm missing?Hopefully someone else can help out.
