How EXACTLY are MapShare updates interpreted

Let's say I tell my TomTom that a road has been blocked for construction (East and West bound routes closed). I would mark this as a TEMPORARY change affecting both directions of travel.

Now, part way through construction, the Eastbound side is reopened. After making the change in MapShare, I am not clear whether I should be making the change TEMPORARY or PERMANENT.

If MapShare is taking both directions as a set, then it should be TEMPORARY. But if MapShare sees that I have only made changes to one direction, and it records the change to only this one direction, then the change should be PERMANENT.

Does anyone know which classification would be correct?

Is it a divided highway? If so, then you can use permanent.

If it's non-divided (eg: single street on Tomtom) I'd mark the one-way as Temporary.

Thanks for the reply. The road was NOT divided, but I marked it as permanent and also shared it. I guess I'll need to change that.
