I just bought a used TomTom 730. It came with the windshield mount but I can't figure out how to attach it. On the back of my unit there is a metal button with the TT logo (hands) on it. Is this supposed to pop out? When I press on it nothing happens. The User Manual only says :
Windshield mount
Use the windshield mount to install your TomTom GO inside your car.
To attach the mount, press the suction cup firmly to the windshield in your car,
in an area of the windshield where the glass is flat.
Make sure that both the holder and your windshield are clean and dry before
you attach the mount. Place the mount so that it does not interfere with your
view of the road.

And the diagram which explains all the parts of the GPS, doesn't identify what the button with the hands on the back is.

Never mind.

Figured this out myself by going to Ebay and looking at replacement mounts. I was missing a piece, so that's why the mounting system didn't make sense.
