I cannot get Home to install.
All I ever does is just hang with the "TomTom Home Version 2.7" banner. I cannot give any error reports as it does not get that far. The Plan A Route, Route Planner and Account buttons seem to work. I am using Windows XP professional on a Dell Dimension machine, 350g hard drive 3gig memory, my windows updates are current and I have checked for viruses, it is a recently fitted new hard dive and operating system, so is pretty clean. My updates are well, up to date!
I have tried all the fixes so far given by the support team, checked the firewall, cleared all temporary files, done a defrag, done a very thorough uninstall and reinstall, several times, done a disc clean up on my drive and a disc error check on my new TomTom XL2, but still will not install.
Anyone any brilliant ideas please?
