home NOT starting up automatically

ever since i updated home, it will not start up unless i open it manually- the auto start is checked off-its just not doing it-any guesses as to why?

Same problem here. It's just a nuisance for now.

Look in the root of your unit. There should be a file called autorun.inf that can be opened and edited with Notepad. The contents should look something like this:

[autorun]
action=Run TomTom HOME
#open=InstallTomTomHOME.exe
label=TomTom
icon=tomtom.ico
[DeviceInstall]
#This section is empty; autorun will not install device drivers to your PC.

There may be a # symbol at the beginning of the line that starts with 'action'. If there is, just delete it and save the file.
