I'm *MAD DOG* a noob on your Tom Tom forum. I have just bought a Tom Tom XL 250 as my first ever GPS.

Is there anything you guys can tell me that I don't know about the device?

The first thing you should do before updating your unit, is to make a backup on to your computer.
