Help Tom Tom 340 doesn't turn on.

It turned on before when I first got it. I had the lifetime maps so I updated it. Now the back light on the screen powers on,but nothing else comes up. What is going on?

Tough to say.

Did you by chance make an Explorer, not Home, backup prior to the update?

Have you tried resetting the unit (hold the power button about 10 seconds)?
