help installing usa and canada 715.1712

hi there i had a new tomtom one with map version 715.1712 and i had made a copy of my sd card, and then the thing broke. im trying to install the map on my old 510 and i cant figure it out. any help would be appreciated.

A map is tied to a particular unit. So it won't work in another unit (obviously to prevent unauthorized copying and distribution of maps).

Will customer service let you make the switch? I doubt it, but you can always ask them.
