help 6.5 map..and activation code

I got the new maps from a newzbin site and the install looked like it all went fine. I entered the device code. then entered my product code that I got with my tomtom and then got an activation code. However, tomtom 910 says that this is not hte rihgt activation code for the product North America. What do I DO?!?!

When I updated I used a product code from the map package, not the TomTom unit product code.

The product is 15 digits; letters and numbers

It was on a card just like the one that came with the TomTom.

If you are entitled to a free map upgrade pay the $6 shipping.. if not you are downloading illegal software that you need to pay for.

$6 is well worth the cost....and the wait for some.
