Greetings, I obtained the TomTom One 1st edition nearly two years ago.

Recently, I purchased a 4 GB SD card. I copied the contents of the original card onto the new one. The TomTom software reads the 4 GB card from my laptop card reader. It works as if the navigation device is connected to the computer.

However, when I place the card in the TomTom device, it is not recognized. Instead, the device show the animation to insert a SD card.

How can I get the device to recognize the card?

Can that model even deal with a sd card of that size? I'm not sure. But, try a pin reset with the card in the unit.
