Has the 720 got...

Does anyone know if the 720 or any TomTom has an altimeter in it. Is there anywhere you can add anything that would add one???
Was on another RV type site and this question was asked, but no one said wether the 720 or any TomTom model had this feature.

The 720 does NOT have an altimeter but certain 3rd party programs may include one (if your firmware is prior to 8.3, that one seemed to kill off most, if not all, 3rd party stuff from running).

Be advised, though, that any altimeter reading on a commercial gps, any brand, will NOT be precise. You may see a reading at certain location being x feet and the very next day, the reading may show 100 feet higher.
