hard wiring on Harley

This is my second newbie question of the day (thanks for the earlier answer)
I just got a TT 335 and the Ram mount for my heritage but I am trying to decide how to wire the power. I do not want to get the female cigarette lighter if I can keep from it. do they make a cable for hard wiring these units? If so, where do you get them from? After several hours of computer searches and phone calls I am starting to think it's not possible.

They do not offer a "hardwired" version -- the voltage regulation electronics are all in the cigarette lighter adapter. You're only wanting a well regulated 5V ... don't hook it up to your vehicle power directly ! So I'm afraid you're stuck with the female 12V power adapter.
