What information are you looking for on your GPS?

How many sats are connected and in what level. Not for the TomTom but for comparing with my dash cam.
Both under my sheet-heated windshield of my car from my VW ID7 Tourer.
TomTom: no any problem.
Dash cam: most of the time only 1 sat in green, so no position in the video's.
Even the manufacturer says that it is possible to have slow positioning when a sheet-heated windshield.
But I not get any positioning at all on that device.
If possible i want to send pics from both devices.

Sadly, a feature that was once available on even their most basic models, but has been discontinued for a couple of generations of devices now. Was sometimes a useful troubleshooting tool for us here, especially when we were dealing with some of the metallic windshield issues when those first started being made.

I downloaded an app on my cp. Found out that also the sat-reception was not enough to have a fix. So windshield is really a Faraday cage.
All credits to TomTom. Under the same conditions always enough sats available.
Case closed.
