Every time i log on to TT home it says theres a update for gps quick fix,is that normal?Ive downloaded it 4 times in 2 weeks.

Yes this is normal. The information downloaded helps the device get a satelite fix faster.

The QuickFix updates frequency HAS changed.

TomTom changed the frequency that the QuickFix updates occur. In May '07 they updated about every 7 days. Now it seems new data is available daily. An update will be offered every time you log into Home.

Can anyone reccomend a good dash mount for the TT one that isnt to expensive but does the job?

My 510 downloaded it twice in two days!! It's getting annoying.

I believe the schedule for the QuickFix is about 3-4 days.

If you don't want to download it just avoid it. Satellites do tend to move. We need to know where they are

I agree 100 % pedro,but i just wanted to be sure i wasnt downloading the same file everytime,Thks for your input pedro

Yes, having the Quickfix more frequently will help. It's a free service that TT is providing so why not take it.
