Just wanted to give you guys a quick update. I just drove in my car and on my steering wheel I pressed Google Assistant (of android auto) mic button and said, Drive to ... (and I also said on the second occaion NAVIGATE TO...) and TomTom Android Auto showed the Options 1, 2 and 3 to choose from (i usually tap oprion 1 that has DRIVE underneath).
Before, Google maps would open up when you said Navigate To or Drive to.
Also, you can SEARCH with Android Auto's Google Assistant Voice without tapping mic on the search bar in the car screen (using tomtom Go Android Auto on car screen of course). Just remember, that TomTOm searched by CATEGORY or EXACT NAME. You can't say Find Steakhouse near me. But you can say RESTAURANT near me or EXACT NAME of restaurant on Google's assistant (usually i activate google assistant by pressing mic button on my steering wheel)
So its great news. Also the SIDE BAR is working now and stays permanently on screen (without disapperaing with the latest app update on playStore)
ALso, I am hoping tomtom will allow touching LEFT TOP GREEN BOX to repeat voice directions (just like google maps allows). However I do have it set to say voice direx EARLY in the Setting options, so the direx will repeat again in case I missed the saying, but it would still be nice to have the REPEAT VOICE DIREX avail (like G'MAPS) by tapping top LEFT GREEN BOX.
