Because I have a unlock Iphone for a Canadian carrier,( Rodgers) and it doesn't work.

George, I could swear I remember your asking this question before and getting a 'yes' as an answer.

(mind you, what is it you know to even ask about the i phone since it is not currently (officially) available in Canada? )

Hi,

Iphones work with Rodgers carrier, if they are unlocked. I have one my self, and it is just a superb Cell phone.

You will only be able to do hands free calling with the iPhone. The iPhone doesn't support data transfer so you can't use any of the plus services (traffic, weather, etc.).

I'm with Rogers, too, with an unlocked iPhone. Works for me.
