I tried to use my Scala G4 headset with my GO500 but it would not connect.
It gives « incompatible device, the selected device does not support this service«
I can’t find a headset menue on the satnav, so I am trying to connect through the Network Services. This is probably why it won’t work as it could be looking for a Network.
I there a way I can use the G4 headset to listen to the voice commands?
Thanks.

A2DP Bluetooth would be the correct choice for connectivity, but as an automotive GPS, the GO 500 doesn't support that. The Rider series TomTom units are the devices best suited to motorcycle use. On the GO 500, Bluetooth is only used for connecting to Live services (traffic, etc.)

See here for more suitable devices >> https://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/navigation/motorcycle-gps-sat-nav/

That is a shame, I was hoping to use my existing unit rather than purchase another one.
I presume that is no way of adding this feature to my unit?

Sorry, no. The unit you have won't accept firmware for the Rider series.
The Rider really is better designed for this. Your 500 isn't exactly weatherproof!
