Beste....

GO Superior only comes with a world map.

Go Navigator dispose d'une carte de l'Europe.

the image quality on both GPS is the same.

Neither GPS has a hands-free calling function via the phone's Bluetooth connection.

Hello,
Thanks for the info.
So the screen and immage quality are the same.
Is there a difference in working/calculating speed between both devices ?
Else it seems that the only differences are the eu/world maps and the included service time (1 or 2 years).
Is it the same unit for the rest ?

The advantage of the GO Superior is that it's suitable for calculating routes for caravans and trailers.

There's no difference in the calculations between the two devices.

The only difference, as you mentioned, is the duration of the included services, which are 1 or 2 years.

Is there a difference in internal memory ?
I now have the Tomtom Go Navigator 6" 2nd generation at home, but i can not find how much memory/storrage is inside (not on the box, manual or in the software) ? But it is not able to fit the European maps on it ! I have to remove serveral big countrys, they dont fit on the device all together and that is a verry bad thing.... the price of a little extra memory is realy nothing, and with each update the size of the map will grow ! How can tomtom make these (expensive) units with to less memory/storrage ?

GO Navigator has 32 GB of internal memory, a Europe map is a little over 9 GB so you have more than enough space to install it.

The Europe map includes 46 countries.
Germany and France are included in the Europe map; you don't need to download them separately.

It looks like while updating the maps... the system keeps the unfinished maps in memory. My memory was full while i had about half of the EU maps on it !
By deleting some maps and after that completing the big map updates from germany and france... and restarting the unit, 10 gig memory was set free ? After that i was able to install all EU maps ! Now all EU maps are installed and updated, and i have left 1gig free space.

GO Navigator comes with a pre-installed European map, an update.

Only the original European map is updated (46 countries).

Normally, a new map update overwrites the old map.

I think you've downloaded several European countries.

On your GPS, go to Change Map and check the maps installed on your GO.

Or is there a problem with your GO?

On the Tomtom Go Navigator 2nd generation, there is no option to view or choose a map in the settings or anywhere else
