I've done some test on the latest version of application (to be sure that nothing has changed

). So the procedure was like that:
1. Application not used for couple of hours, everything in application on (account, MyDrive sync., searching in internet...), Airplane mode on (no internet) - application doesn't start (infinite starting screen)
2. No changes in application, Airplane off (internet by wifi) - normal start of application
3. I've logged out from TomTom account, turn off MyDrive sync and searching, ad exited application (also from memory)
4. Airplane mode on (no internet) - application starts normally (even slightly faster)
5. Airplane mode off (internet by wifi), I've logged into the TomTom account, turned on MyDrive sync etc. and exited application (also from memory)
6. Air plane mode on (no internet) - application starts normally, I've exited application and left phone for night not changing anything in application but I've turn off Airplane mode
7. This morning: Air plane mode on (no internet) - application doesn't start (infinite starting screen).
8. Air plane mode off (internet by wifi) - normal start
I don't have GSM reception in my home (yes, there are such places in Europe so as You can see working off-line navigation has a great sense)
So situation is the same as it was at the beginning of the year. For some time after successful start, application can be started even off-line but just for some time and no one knows how long (my numerous test showed that it can be couple of minutes or hours...)

My situation is the same. After I delete everything and reinstall app, it works for a few hours when I'm off line. Then for some unknown reason stops starting.
But if I connect to WiFi, it works perfectly
And to confirm I have no SIM card in my tablet so it can't be because of weak connection

Trin, I am happy to help. I am not sure what else to recommend. I hope your input to TT Support does not fall on dead ears and they listen to us and do some corrective actions to solve this app not working.

* It used to be the best app, but it's no longer the case.

I actually have speed cameras toggled OFF on my app because i dont speed that much. I just follow traffic. It distructs me with those speed camers on app. I like minimum distrx.

Whenever you start the TomTom GO app it tries to access at least 2 domains through internet. Whenever it can't reach those domains (while connected to internet) you'll end up with the endless circle spinning.
At home I'm running an adblock on my internet router and I see TomTom GO wants to access the following domains:
device-api.asnapieu.com
remote-data.asnapieu.com
These requests were blocked by my adblocker and TomTom would not load (spinning circle). I had to put these 2 domains on the whitelist for the TomTom GO app to start.
Whenever you have succeeded to start the app it will probably work for the next few hours. If you try to start the app later on it will try to reach those domains again and when not possible (in case of no internetconnection), it fails to start the app.

h those domains again and when not possible (in case of no internetconnection), it fails to start the app.
Exactly! So there are 2 things: The first thing was your AdBlock ionside ROuter blocking it. The second issue: Even when you do NOT have any AdBlocks on router, when you have poor INTERNET connection, App Can NOT reach the server, and gets STUCK with Loading Maps. So what I was told by TomTom Support as a TEMPORARY MEASURE UNTIL THE FIX COMES OUT: you can put Smartphone into AIRPLANE MODE for a second, OPEN TOMTOM WHILE IN AIRPLANE MODE (make sure your maps downloaded as TT will feed off of downloaded maps instead of server's maps), then Turn airplane mode OFF (after TT executed on smartphone) and u will be good to go.

Does Maps execute with AIRPLANE mode?
